Two separate ways to start
The short financing assistance form collects only basic contact and budget information so we can discuss options with you. It is not a credit application, an approval or a guarantee of credit.
The secure credit application is a formal motor-vehicle credit application submitted to Cabriolet Motors, LLC, holder of the applicable Florida Motor Vehicle Retail Installment Seller licence. It is used only when you choose to apply.
What the assistance form never accepts
- Social Security numbers
- Driver's-licence numbers or images
- Bank-account, debit or credit card information
How the secure application protects your information
- Identity and financial identifiers such as your Social Security number, date of birth and driver's-licence number are encrypted before they are stored, and are displayed only in masked form.
- Only the owner of Cabriolet Motors, using multi-factor authentication, may view protected values, and every viewing is recorded in an access log.
- Uploaded documents are held in private storage and are never publicly reachable.
- Automated assistants and reporting tools receive only non-sensitive summary information.
Credit inquiries
A consumer credit report is requested only where you have signed the credit-report authorization, a lawful permissible purpose exists, and a person at Cabriolet Motors confirms the request. Each request is recorded with the authorization version, the bureau, the purpose and the time.
Sharing with lenders
Your application is shared only with approved finance sources, only when a person confirms it, and only through secure channels. Sensitive information is never sent as an ordinary email attachment.
Retention
Applications are retained for the period required by applicable law and by our finance sources. When that period ends, protected values are securely destroyed and documents are deleted; a non-sensitive record of the disposal is kept.
